Measles Vaccinations Available in Fillmore County, MN

One dose of Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR) vaccine is 93% and two doses of MMR is 97% effective at preventing measles.  Fillmore County Public Health is hosting a measles vaccination clinic for people age 6 months and older who are underinsured or uninsured.  Due to Fillmore County having a case of measles, vaccination is authorized for 6- to 12-month-olds.  Pregnant women are ineligible for measles vaccination.  Symptom screening will take place before patrons enter the clinic.

The cost of vaccination is $5 per person or no-cost if covered by Minnesota Health Care Program Insurance (Medicare/Medicaid).  If you are concerned about the vaccine cost, call 507-765-2642 to speak with our staff.  The clinic will be Thursday, September 24, 2026, from 4 to 6 PM at the Fillmore County Office Building – Lower-Level Room 108 located at 902 Houston Street NW, Preston, MN  55965.  Please park in the Lower-Level Lot and enter through Door 2.
